Open Class

Class No.1

Age under 32 (according to the application deadline).

 

The program is between 40 to 50 minutes.

Contestants must perform ALL of the designated repertoires.

The repertoires of the Contestants’ own choices should be comparable to the designated repertoires and should be stated on the entry form.

 

Ⅰ.Any two contrasting sonatas of SCARLATTI or any one BACH “Well Tempered Clavier” Prelude and Fugue

Ⅱ.Any one sonata by Haydn, Mozart, Beethoven or Schubert

Ⅲ.Chopin, Liszt or Debussy any one Etude

Ⅳ.Own Choices (one or more works)

 

Preliminary Contests (programmer within 25 minutes) :

ⅰ.  Etude (See III)

ⅱ.First movement of a Sonata (see II)

ⅲ.Own choice (Preliminary Contest and Final Round could be the same repertoire)

 

 

Commemorate Liszt Performance Class

Class No.2

Any repertoires within 18 minutes

 

Liszt Hungarian Rhapsody Class

Class No.3

Any one of the “Hungarian Rhapsodies”

 

Liszt Etude Class

Class No.4

Any one of the following pieces:

“12 Etudes d’execution transcendante”

“3 Concert Etudes”

“Waldesrauschen”

“6 Paganini Etudes”

“Gnomereigen”

 

Youth Class

Class No.5

Age under 26(born after 20.7.1992)

The whole duration must not exceed 30 minutes

Ⅰ.One piece from the Baroque Era

Ⅱ.One Sonata of the Classical style

Ⅲ.One or more works of the competitor’s own choice

 

Concerto Class A

Class No.6

First or third movement from any Classical Concerto

 

Concerto Class B

Class No.7

First or third movement from any Romantic / 20th Century Concerto

 

Bach Advanced Class

Class No.8

Any one of Bach “Well Tempered Clavier”
